...well,that wasn't quite the way i'd hoped this would work! Best of intentions but the lack of a suitable overseas network connection has foiled my plans. Sorry bout that. Let's hope the network is sorted in time for the next adventure!

Dropped off at the airport at stupid o'clock by a barely awake Ruth. Thanks darlin'! Haven't planned all the details of the journey across. May have to insult the locals with some schoolboy French to establish a suitable rail journey from Paris to Lorient. If i don't make it back it'll have been the rail journey that was my undoing. The European Rail website just wasn't worth the visit!
